This working farmhouse is in the heart of the Tuscany Chianti region, close to the town of Greve in Chianti. The property has 20 hectares of vineyards and 40 hectares of olive groves.
The farmhouse is made up of the main villa, the Winery, the rental apartments, a building with offices and sales area for the farm produce, a storage area for olive oil and a cellar for aging wine. A swimming pool surrounded by garden is open to our guests. Everything is surrounded as far as you can see by vineyard, olive groves and woods.
TOUR and TASTING at Fattoria Santo Stefano
BACCO: includes a guided tour of the 2 cellars (new and old) with the explain of the methods used to produce the wines and a tasting of the 2 red wines Chianti Classico d.o.c.g. , Vinsanto, Grappa, Extravirgin Olive oil. Also included in the tasting are bruschetta with tomatoes, patè, bread, tuscan ham, salami and sheep cheese. (15,00€ per person)
DIONISO: Begins with a historical introduction of the Chianti Classico area and the types of the red wines and the grape Sangiovese. The guide also talks about the characteristics of the wine and a quick tour in the vineyard. Immediately following, there is a guided tour of the 2 cellars (new and old) with the explain of the wine making process. Then, it would be arranged the tasting of 2 red wines Chianti Classico d.o.c.g., Vinsanto, Grappa, Extravirgin Olive oil with bruschetta, patè, bread, tuscan ham, salami, and variety of local sheep cheeses. Then the clients are served a first course “pasta” or “tagliatelle” with meat or tomatoes or season vegetables dressing. Cakes and coffee for dessert. (20,00€ per person)
