Continue walking through the characteristic streets of the medieval market to reach Ravegnana Square with its famous Two Towers, Asinelli and Garisenda, the symbol of Bologna. Take a look to the complex of Santo Stefano, the religious heart of the city, before lunch (not included). While walking into the city center, you will see several food shops and craft stores, don’t miss the chance to taste the authentic Mortadella! After some relaxing time, you can take the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of the Ghetto, where the history of the ancient Jewish community of Bologna is still present. Alternatively, it would be possible to visit the Church of St. Dominic, which preserves the precious Ark containing the body of the saint, who died in Bologna in 1221, or the complex of Santa Maria della Vita, with the Lamentation by Niccolò Dell’Arca.
